Pacamara is a coffee varietal resulting from the crossing of 2 varietals: Pacas and Maragogipe. The number 149 comes from the lot number that the producer, Finca Hartmann, assigned to this particular batch of coffee cherries that they harvested and processed in their family-run farm in Santa Clara, Panama.
These fresh crop beans are definitely one-of-a-kind, with our medium roast bringing out notes of tropical fruits like pineapple, earl grey tea, and cacao nibs. We especially enjoy it as a pour over!
Freshly roasted coffee's flavors will evolve over time. For our roasts, we find that our beans taste best when you brew them between 1 week to 6 weeks after the roasting date indicated on the bag.
